1.0 WELCOME, ROLL CALL, AGENDA REVIEW
Simeon welcomed the group and reviewed the agenda.
2.0 APPROVAL OF 8 JULY MINUTES
Simeon reviewed the minutes for the 8 July meeting. Quorum was achieved, and the minutes were approved.
3.0 2024 COMMUNITY COUNCIL OBJECTIVES
Simeon presented the 2024 Community Council Objectives and provided an update on each objective. Simeon took notes directly in the document. Reica agreed to introduce the Linux Foundation to gain insights into their methods for measuring community engagement. Simeon will draft a community strategy tailored for both individuals and organizations and will bring it back to the Community Council for further discussion.

4.0 AOB
Simeon introduced the FINOS Financial Services Certified Open Source Developer (FSOSD) certification, which is a course designed for developers contributing to open source projects. Mojaloop has partnered with the Linux Foundation to offer 20 free spots for this course. The goal is to strengthen the knowledge of open source in the context of financial services in the Mojaloop community. If you know anyone who might be interested, please inform Simeon.
The Contribution Acceptance Guidelines update has been delayed and Simeon is waiting on Staff to provide input to the working draft.
The Mojaloop CoCo Attendance and Decision Log has been updated and is available in Basecamp.
